    Tafel want dog food?

For the most part, food banks are happy to accept dog food donations. This is because pet owners who are struggling to make ends meet may not be able to afford to feed their pets and may have to leave them at an animal shelter as a result.

First, it is important to check with the food bank in question as to what types of food they accept and whether or not they have restrictions on items donated.

SecondBecause many people who rely on food banks also have allergies or other dietary restrictions, it's best to donate bags or cans of unopened dog food with no additives or preservatives.FinallyRemember that although dogs are considered man's best friend, not everyone shares your love for them! So please be considerate when donating dog food and make sure it's something the feed bank can actually use.
